Our Pre-K room is for 4-5 year olds

 

There’s always something exciting happening in our Pre-K Room! Our days are designed to keep children curious, engaged, and learning through a mix of hands-on activities, creative play, and time together. Some of our daily activities include:

• Circle time, including daily job assignments, a review of the day’s schedule, and learning opportunities

• Art

• Table activities, including sensory, math, and science

• Story time

• Outdoor play, including walks and playground time, weather permitting
   

We build early literacy skills by exploring all aspects of the alphabet and helping children develop a strong foundation for kindergarten.

We are licensed to care for 16 pre-kindergarteners, ages 4½ to 5 years. The Pre-K Room is staffed by a combination of lead teachers, assistant teachers, and aides, maintaining a minimum ratio of one staff member for every ten children.
