Our daily activities are thoughtfully designed to support each stage of your infant’s development, including:

Our Infant room is for 6 weeks - 18 months of age

  • Motor development, including tummy time, movement, grasping, crawling, creeping, walking, and running

  • Self-recognition through mirror play and social interaction

  • Baby Sign Language

  • Language development

  • Music, including nursery rhymes, poems, and finger plays

  • Sensory exploration through sensory tables, a variety of textures, and art opportunities

  • Story time

  • Outdoor play, including walks and play-area time, weather permitting

As infants grow, we also help prepare them for the transition to the Toddler Room by practicing skills such as drinking from cups and sitting in chairs.

We are licensed to care for 20 infants, ages 6 weeks to 18 months. Our Infant Room is staffed by a combination of lead teachers, assistant teachers, and aides, maintaining a minimum ratio of one staff member for every four children.
